Sealed Bids are invited for the construction of:
Project Name: Sunset Drive (4100 blk) Drainage Improvement Project
Contract No. 2009-047 Budget I.D. No. B08182
This Contract involves installation of pipe, flat bottom paved ditch, catch basins, yard drains, headwall and tree clearing in rear of Sunset Drive (4100 blk) and S. Crums Lane. The major items of construction include, but are not limited to, the following:
A. 630 LF - 12 in. pipe
B. 4 EA - catch basin
C. 7 EA - yard drains
D. 175 LF - 2ft. w/1 ft. high sides flat bottom ditch
E. 1 EA - 12 in. pipe headwall
F. 1 EA - headwall turndown
G. 1 LS - tree & brush removal
All work will be done in accordance to MSD’s Standard Specifications.
The engineer's estimate for this project is less than $50,000; therefore, in accordance with MSD's Supplier Diversity (MBE/WBE Participation) Contractor Compliance Program (CCP), Supplier Diversity goals shall not be required for this project. MSD gives preference to local businesses seeking to do business as suppliers or prime contractors which are defined as businesses that have headquarters or a branch office currently located in Louisville Metro that has been located in this area for at least one year prior to the date of the Invitation for Bid. Five percent (5%) will be added to the bid price quoted by each bidder or RFP respondent for a business that does not meet the definition of local business as set forth in MSD’s Procurement Regulations, Section 2A-14(a) when calculating price points for bid award.
